Subject: great show, great recording, but not a SBD
Subject: great show, great recording, but not a SBD
these guys are really peaking my curiousity and i'll probably be coming back on a very regular basis to listen to their shows on here... last night i watched their performance on JamCam, the Wakarusa edition... the guitar player switches to pedal steel for the jam portion, it is super mellow but boiling over with intensity at the same time...such an interesting and inevitable culmination of the NOW sound of jam music...very good stuff!
as far as the source of this...well, go listen to the one that was recorded 13,000 times...THAT
is a SBD... when you can hear the sound in the room and not just upfront in the mix you can tell, most of the time, the source... at any rate
thank you so much for putting up another great piece of music!

Not a bad track on here. Be sure you save some head-bobbing or rump-shaking reserves for the Occams. Perfect sound quality--thanks Joel.

this show was amazing, and i'm so glad i got a great recording of it--all the instruments--esp the piano and lead guitar--stand out like separate voices, but you can still hear the energy of the audience...the talking heads cover is INSANE
overall A+++

the reason you hear audience is that it is a soundboard and an audience recording mixed...so you get the best of both worlds...

This was a great show to be at the audience was really into it and the bad came through with a great performance, as usual. The recording is pretty good but this is in no way a soundbord. If it is a soudbord then it hass the most audience noise in a sbd ever. all in all a strong 4 stars. thanks to joel for the recording and fast posting.

Subject: 3 night run from outerspace!
This is the 1st of what is to be known from now on as "The February 3 night run from outerspace!" Anytime they open a show wit the likes of Crockett and Tubbs you know that you are in for an ass whopping time!
Highlights of the show for this listener are as follows: The opening lick to C&T and the rest of the tune, the Playground is one hell of a jammed out tune worth the d/l alone; Occum's is long a sh!t and worth every second of your time! Diggin in the Dirt and Naive Meledoy ... come on 2 of th best covers EVER!
Let the ear drooling commence!
